Well I'll wait for the reports to come in, but I think we've lost one more. It isn't cancer that's killin' them off, it must be another source. Like the asshole living in my brain, he's mean and old and sore. I'm not sure how he got this way or what he's compensating for. It must have been that little black rain cloud hanging just above his head always coming out when things were looking good, leaving him alone and wet. Now I don't know how to fix him, or what he expects of me, but I think I must do something now because he's crying in his sleep... and it's keeping me awake. Just when I thought that life couldn't get anymore bitter- I've been receiving lemons in the mail with my letters. I may never catch scurvy, but I can't make lemonade, 'cause all the sweet stuff that was in me has been used up and it's gone away. Now I sit here in the darkness trying 'oh-so-hard' to laugh. Where once I had best friends I am left with photographs. Well, I'd like to have them back now, maybe just 1, 2, or 3. But it's too late, that's all she wrote, there's nothing more to see.
